Koti is a bustling commercial area in Hyderabad, Telangana. Its name originates from the Koti Residency, a lavish mansion built in Victorian and Corinthian style, which was later converted into the Osmania University College for Women. The locality is renowned for its numerous bookshops and its Bank Street, which hosts important national and private banks, making it a significant financial center. Koti is also home to the Osmania Medical College, one of India's oldest medical colleges. The area offers excellent connectivity within and outside the state, with the Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station and Kachiguda's MMTS train station nearby.
