The Stok Palace, built in 1825 CE by King Tsespal Tondup Namgyal, serves as the current residence for the royal descendants of King Sengge Namgyal. The palace features a blend of traditional and contemporary architectural styles, beautiful gardens, and a library containing 108 volumes of the Kangyur (teachings of Lord Buddha).
